I have created this website due to my love for Japan.
My first trip to Japan was in 2018 and it blew my mind away with its futuristic modernity in respect with the olden ways.
One scene that comes to my mind is when I got lost in the Tokyo (not in translation); because of the negative temperatures in February which caused my phone to stop working until I went indoors and warmed it up. Ending up being lost in the alleys of Tokyo with skyscrapers all around me and no way of communication other that hand gestures I ended up strolling around the alleys looking for the main and a recognizable landmark or station.
In my search I ended up stumbling upon a temple hidden away in the backstreets of Tokyo and there was only one way to describe the atmosphere: “calm!”. So, I ended up having my packed lunch (bento) by the temple and enjoyed some peace. Whilst being lost and in a funny way tried to find myself. In the end the point I am trying to get across is that even though Tokyo is such a bumbling busy city; you can still come across places that put your heart at ease.
Hence, I want to be share a little bit of Japan with you and hopefully guide you on your next trip!
